Do you have an urgent need for assistance?
If you feel you need counseling, the Fleet & Family Support Center offers short-term, confidential counseling. No one but you need know you have sought out assistance. Our counselors are certified and will explicitly brief you on the confidentiality levels that we maintain and are required to do by state, federal, and US Navy requirements. Counseling can be arranged at any Region Southwest FFSC by calling 1-866-923-6478.
Do not hesitate to call and if we are not available and you feel this is urgent, call 211 or if an immediate need call 911.
211 is a national information and referral service with local branches. Calling 211 will get you connected to information and referral services within your community. 911 should be used in emergencies.
FFSC Resource Table
Don’t have time to visit FFSC? Then FFSC will come to you! FFSC will host resource tables near the main entrance of both Naval Base San Diego and NAS North Island Navy Exchange buildings. Knowledgeable staff will be able to answer questions, and literature will be available about FFSC services, programs, and workshops as well as information on how to contact community resources.

International Spouse Orientation
Are you a foreign born spouse? This orientation can help you find a variety of resources to smooth the transition to a successful U.S. and military lifestyle. Subjects include immigration, education, recreation, and multicultural information as well as a tour of the FFSC facility. Spouses can also sign up for the International Spouse Network to contact other spouses of similar cultural origins. Our Relocation and Information & Referral Specialists will provide or research resources to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
International Spouse Support Meeting
This group is designed for ongoing support to spouses of all countries and cultures. In-depth information on immigration, the Navy and US culture, and fun activities with other international spouses - all in one place! Call for more information and to confirm activities and events.
