Fleet & Family Support Centers
Through our free workshops, services, and classes, our dedicated staff can help enhance the quality of life for all military members and their families, single Sailors, reservist, and retirees.
FFSC is proud to support military commands by providing programs and training, when you need it, at your site. Our Command Support Staff will be happy to assist with all phases of the deployment cycle, provide Command Representatives as liaisons, Ombudsman support and coordination, and much more.
Our support is based on our experience levels, live interpersonal relations and providing what the military service member and their families need. Feel free to call or contact us for any of your needs.
Family Readiness Express (FRE)

Fleet & Family Support coming to your community.
Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Support Programs can now provide you with information and referral services in your local community.This RV-style Family Readiness Express will be making it's debut in military housing February, 2009!
The Family Readiness Express will be manned with specialists from the NRSW Fleet & Family Support Programs available from 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, to serve local military families.
This opportunity will allow FFSC to increase the convenience and awareness of all military family quality of life programs to enhance readiness and empower military and families.

Murphy Canyon Branch
Residents of San Diego County Navy Housing are enjoying the convenience of family outreach services in their own neighborhood. The Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) has opened a neighborhood branch office adjacent to the Murphy Canyon Youth Recreation Center on Santo Road.
The FFSP Murphy Canyon Branch facility provides assistance and services typically offered at on-base Fleet and Family Support Centers including:
- Professional counseling for adult-and children
- New parent support home visitation
- Personal life skills classes – personal and family improvement coping with expected and unexpected deployments, parent education skills and more.
Here are the workshops scheduled in a community near you.
Clinical Counseling for Adults
Individual, marital and family counseling offered in home or at the Branch office. Your privacy and convenient access to services are a program priority. Group and counseling issues may include: Deployment Adjustment, Parenting, Marital and Family Stress, Trauma Support, Multi-family Groups and other related life adjustment issues.
Clinical Counseling for Children and Youth
We provide school, home and community-based counseling services for children of military personnel. Licensed clinicians will provide individual, group and family counseling services upon receipt of parental consent. The focus of our Child/Youth groups includes: Coping with Deployment, Social Skills, Anger Management, Self-Esteem, and more.
New Parent Support Program
Expectant and new parents with children 0-5 years of age are invited to participate in the New Parent Support Home Visitation Program (NPS). Invite our professionals into your home to help you develop parenting skills and to share important information every parent needs to know.
Work and Family Life Skills Classes
Our Work and Family Life Consultants offer classes that focus on personal and family improvement. The skills learned during these courses will provide families with the tools to cope with daily life, as well as expected and unexpected deployments. Please see the back of this sheet for current class information.

MYTH: Navy Personnel will conduct room inspections in PB.
FACT: NO NAVY personnel or command will conduct inspections of private rooms in PB. PINNACLE is the property manager, therefore they are responsible for managing the property and must follow California State Law when entering any unit. Unless there is an emergency, 24 HRS advance notice is typically required before PINNACLE will enter a unit.
MYTH: Residents cannot bring guest into PB or those guest are not allowed to use the amenities.
FACT: Residents can bring guest into PB and those guest are allowed to use all the amenities.
MYTH: No overnight guest are allowed.
FACT: Overnight guests are allowed in PB. In fact, guest are allowed for up to two weeks.
MYTH: PB rent is the same as BAH.
FACT: The vast majority of units in PB are priced several hundred dollars below the E4 BAH with no units exceeding the E4 BAH. Thus, residents of PB not only enjoy a great place to live with an abundance of things to do but also have the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars every month. RENTS ALSO INCLUDE Utilities, Furniture (if needed), Parking, Renters Insurance and access to all amenities.

We offer over a dozen Workshops After Hours to help fit in your schedule. Workshops like Transferring Oversea...More Resources & Less Stress for Your Next OCONUS PCS, Introduction to Owning Your Own Business, Conflict Resolution, Dealing with Stress, Effective Parenting Class and others.
